This course deepens students' understanding of chemistry through organic chemistry, structure and properties of matter, energy changes and reaction rates, chemical equilibrium, and electrochemistry. Students refine problem-solving, investigation, and communication skills while evaluating chemistry in everyday life and environmental contexts.

Prerequisite: Chemistry, Grade 11, University Preparation

Skill Level: Beginner

This course provides in-depth study of concepts and processes in biological systems. Students investigate biochemistry, metabolic processes, molecular genetics, homeostasis, and population dynamics, with emphasis on detailed knowledge and scientific investigation skills for further study in life sciences and related fields.

Prerequisite: Biology, Grade 11, University Preparation

Skill Level: Beginner

This course extends students' experience with functions. Students investigate polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; broaden their understanding of rates of change; apply related concepts and skills; and refine mathematical processes needed for senior mathematics and future study.

Prerequisite: Functions, Grade 11, University Preparation, or Mathematics for College Technology, Grade 12, College Preparation

Skill Level: Beginner
